Abstract:

Rabindranath Tagore, the renowned poet, philosopher, and social reformer, and Albert Einstein, the celebrated physicist and mathematician, were two of the most influential figures of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Although their expertise lay in distinct fields—Tagore in literature and philosophical thought, and Einstein in physics— they shared a deep intellectual connection that bridged the gap between science and art. This essay offers a comparative analysis of their perspectives on life, nature, and the universe, focusing on their famous 1930 dialogue, which explored the relationship between science and spirituality. Through an examination of their views on knowledge, consciousness, and reality, the essay highlights their impact on modern thought and underscores the significance of interdisciplinary exchanges between them.

Keywords:Rabindranath Tagore, Albert Einstein, Science and Spirituality, Dialogue, Knowledge, Nature, Reality, Philosophy, Consciousness, Modern Thought, interdisciplinary.
